A good number of students in India are not aware of the variety of career choices available to them. Because of this forced unfamiliarity, students fall prey to social pressure and take up one of the two dominant career choices: Engineering or Medicine.

Making a career in engineering is worth considering not only for the financial rewards associated with it, but also, for its other various aspects that are appealing to the engineers. The only thing that is difficult, however, is a major responsibility that they have on their shoulders.

With an objective to conduct a transparent and efficient standardized tests to assess the skills of candidates for admission, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and Government of India (GOI) established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier organisation. And one of the tests conducted is NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test).
